The Hershey Bears saw a familiar face at morning skate Saturday as Connor Carrick returned from Washington. At the end of the skate around, the coaching staff took on Carrick, Mike Moore and Chris Bourque in a 3 vs. 3, first to five contest, which the players won 5-2.
Troy Mann was running power play drills mid-practice, with one grouping being Carter Camper, Paul Carey, Jakub Vrana, Chris Bourque and Madison Bowey. Seeing Bourque and Bowey together on the blue line will give many Bears fans flashbacks to when Bourque and John Carlson manned Hershey’s power play in 2009-10.
Hershey takes on Wilkes-Barre tonight at 7pm in Hershey. Steve Oleksy is not expected to play after his debut in Wilkes-Barre last night.
