The Bears have been on a roll lately, thanks in part to the play of the young forwards on Hershey’s squad. During Hershey’s Saturday night game against Lehigh Valley, the 2014 first round pick for the Washington Capitals Jakub Vrana scored a beauty of a goal and did the only worthy celebration: dabbing.
“I really didn’t know what to do there,” said Vrana with a smile. “I saw it on the internet. I don’t know, guys like it, so *shrugs*.” We’re going to take a guess that Jakub is rooting for Carolina’s dabbing quarterback in tomorrow’s Super Bowl.

“I tried to get as much speed as I could,” Vrana said about the goal. “I went back and Juice [Christian Djoos] hit me there in the middle. It was kind of passive – [Lehigh Valley] just stood still. I tried to go through there, get a nice quick shot. It went in for me, so I was happy for that.”
Vrana actually dabbed twice, once after the goal and once as the skated to the bench. Only a few weeks ago did Vrana return from his wrist injury, and right now he’s just taking it shift-by-shift. “I missed three months of hockey. I’m just trying to go shift-by-shift, two hundred percent every game and do my best.”
