Washington Capitals Development Camp is the talk of the week.  It runs through Saturday and if you have time you should go check it out.  Two days of camp are done and day three is in progress.  Our cohorts over at RMNB have been attending the camp.  They have coverage of what’s happened thus far. The Caps signed Christian Hanson.  He’s the son of Dave Hanson of the movie “Slapshot”. [WaPo] (Author’s note: I kind of hope that he gets a shot with the Caps and gets to play Nashville. I’m wondering if there would be any “Chris Hanson: To Catch a Nashville Predator” signs. Yes I heard that collective groan. Yes I know the spelling of the last name is different, but it’s my blog post. 😛 )
