The Hershey Bears have gained Michael Latta back for the start of the 2013-14 season. The 22-year-old Latta made the Washington Capitals opening night roster, but after the Capitals claimed Alexander Urbom off wavers, they sent the young forward down.
Latta had 10 goals and 38 points in 76 games between Hershey and Milwaukee last season. He was acquired from Nashville in April of 2013 in exchange for Filip Forsberg by Washington. The Bears open the new season Saturday night against Adirondack, face off at 7 in Hershey.
