abc27 and Hershey Bears Announce Two TV Games, Five to Come
The Hershey Bears are back on tv this season. abc27 will televise seven Bears games this season. The announcement was made Tuesday afternoon. The first telecast will be next week, Wednesday December 11th at 7:00pm from Binghamton. The second announced telecast will be Friday January 24th at 7:00pm from Syracuse. It will be the first telecast of a game from Syracuse in the long history of Bears broadcasts on abc27. Five more telecasts will be announced in the coming weeks.
The voice of the Bears Scott Stuccio will call the action. abc27 Sports Director Gregg Mace will provide color commentary and host the intermission reports. The games will be seen on abc27.2 RTV. The abc27.2 RTV channel is the home of all of abc27’s local sports programming.
“We’re excited about bringing road Bears games to Hershey fans. Our RTV channel has provided us a great outlet to televise local events, in particular Hershey Bears games,” said abc27 Sports Director Gregg Mace. “Our partnership goes back more than a decade, including televising four Calder Cup finals.”
Viewers can watch the games on abc27.2 RTV, Comcast 246, Verizon 461, Blue Ridge 152, Kuhn 67.

Friday, January 24, 2014 7:00pm at Syracuse
