HERSHEY, PA – Philipp Grubauer waits for the National Anthem before a game in Hershey earlier in the season (Kyle Mace / Sweetest Hockey on Earth)

If a win in Madison Square Garden earlier in the week wasn’t satisfying enough, Philipp Grubauer can add yet another milestone to his brief NHL career.

Grubauer notched his first career shootout victory in the National Hockey League after stopping three of five Tampa Bay Lightning shooters, including Martin St. Louis.

He entered the game in relief of Braden Holtby, after Holtby yielded three goals on eight shots in the game’s opening 11:07. Grubauer went the rest of the distance and stopped 32 of 34 shots between the remainder of regulation and sudden death overtime.

To honor Philipp’s recent accomplishments, our Kyle Mace provides us with five unseen photos of Grubauer from previous Hershey Bears moments.
