Washington Reassigns Patrick Wey to Hershey

Tuesday afternoon, the Washington Capitals announced that defenseman Patrick Wey was reassigned to the Hershey Bears. The 22-year-old made his NHL debut with the Caps on December 7th against Nashville. The Pittsburgh born Wey scored his first professional goal with Hershey against Binghamton last month after starting the season with Reading.

Hershey will take the ice Wednesday night in Binghamton, where Wey and the Bears will look for a much needed win in Broome County. You can catch the game on abc27.2 RTV at 7pm.
