HERSHEY, PA – Michael Latta, seen here earlier in the season, will rejoin Hershey after a stint with Washington (Kyle Mace / Sweetest Hockey on Earth)

The Bears will get one of their top players back in the lineup for Saturday’s game against Springfield. Michael Latta will return to Hershey from the Washington Capitals. Latta had recorded seven points in just 12 games with the Bears and is coming off of injury with the Capitals.

Hershey will look to rebound from Friday night’s 4-2 loss at Binghamton. The defeat followed the Bears best weekend this season, when they picked up five of a possible six standings points.

The Bears Brandon Segal scored twice for Hershey, tying the game mid-way through the second period, but those two goals would be all Herhsey would get. Binghamton scored just over two minutes later when a shot by Shane Prince went off of David Leggio’s glove and into the net.

Hershey played well last night, but could not execute when needed, and Latta could help get the team back to where they should be.

The loss now ties the Bears in 4th place with Syracuse, putting both teams 13 points behind first place Binghamton.

Following Saturday night’s game at Giant Center, the Bears will travel to Atlantic City to play the Albany Devils at 4pm.
