PHOTOS: Bears Take Two Preseason Games From Phantoms and Penguins

The Bears played two eventful preseason games at Giant Center as they prepared for the 2014-15 regular season. The first, Friday night October 3rd, featured the return of former Bears star Andrew Gordon, now playing in the Flyers organization with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms
Gordon tallied the only goal for the Phantoms in the Bears 3-1 victory. Dustin Gazley, Stanislav Galiev, and Garrett Mitchell wold all score for Hershey as Philipp Grubauer recorded 34 saves. Gordon received cheers from the Hershey crowd after scoring against the Bears, in appreciation of his great years in Hershey.
The final tuneup game was a penalty filled 6-1 win over the Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins on Sunday night. With players trying to earn a spot on their respective rosters, 143 minutes in penalties were called in the second period alone. Joel Broda scored two goals as the Bears converted on four power players in their win.
