Mathias Bau scores first AHL point with assist on Anthony Peluso goal

Mathias Bau scored his first AHL point with an assist on Anthony Peluso’s first-period goal against the Rochester Americans Friday night.

The 6-foot-7 forward was signed by Hershey in the offseason as a free agent from Denmark and has appeared in five games this season for the Chocolate and White

Bau would find a streaking Peluso down center ice. Peluso would get Linus Ullmark to bite on a fake shot, then chipping a backhander over the netminder to give Hershey a 3-0 lead.

Hershey would end up losing Friday night’s game 7-6 in a shootout.
