Tampa Bay GM and Hockey Hall of Famer Steve Yzerman attends Hershey Bears game

It’s not every day an NHL General Manager attends a Hershey Bears game, let alone one that’s also regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.

Tampa Bay Lightning General Manager Steve Yzerman was in attendance at the Bears game Wednesday night as he watched his team’s AHL affiliate in person, the Syracuse Crunch.

This comes one day after Yzerman sent veteran goaltender Michael Leighton and forward Tye McGinn to Arizona in exchange for Louis Domingue.

Syracuse dropped the game to Hershey 4-2 and currently sits last in their division with 11 points in 14 games.
