Washington Capitals reclaim Nathan Walker, will stay with the Caps
After only two games with the Edmonton Oilers, Nathan Walker was placed on waivers on Tuesday by the club. Wednesday, he returned to the Washington Capitals organization after being reclaimed by the Caps.
As first reported by Elliotte Friedman, Walker was reclaimed by Washington, and for the time being will stay with the Capitals.
Washington later confirmed that they had reclaimed Walker, but unlike the last time he was placed on waivers, the Capitals will keep him on their NHL roster for now.
With the NHL holiday roster freeze in effect, Walker is unable to be assigned to Hershey, if Washington chooses to send him, until December 28.
Hershey plays Wednesday night in Charlotte for the beginning of a back-to-back series against the Checkers.
