Axel Jonsson-Fjallby remains on Hershey roster

Contrary to reports from hockeynews.se and hockeysverige.se that Hershey Bears forward Axel Jonsson-Fjallby is debating returning to Europe, the 20-year-old Swede remains on Hershey’s roster.

Speaking with Bears and Capitals officials, at this time there are no plans for him to return to Sweden. Jonsson-Fjallby is at Bears practice Tuesday morning, participating in the team picture as well as the team skate.

The first report came out Monday morning from hockeynews.se saying that Jonsson-Fjallby is contemplating a return to Europe. Another false report from hockeysverige.se said sources confirmed to them that Jonsson-Fjallby will be returning to his former club, Djurgårdens IF.

Hershey travels to Grand Rapids on Thursday to being a three-in-three road series on Friday.
