Tickets still available for Hershey Bears documentary premiere tonight!
A limited number of tickets remain for this Friday’s premiere showing of “B’ars to Bears” a film documentary on the history of the Hershey Bears. The film will be shown at the historic Hershey Park arena on Friday, December 7 at 7:30 pm. Tickets for the film are just $25 and are available the night of the showing at Hershey Park arena.
Hershey Bears legends like Mitch Lamoureux, Willie Marshall, Mike Nykoluk, and others will attend. The evening is being MC’d by the voice of the NHL, NBC’s Mike “Doc” Emrick
“We were able to integrate resources from the archives stills and take all these and create an authentic narrative about the Bears history something that’s never been done comprehensively,” said Hershey Derry Township Historical Society Executive Director Nikki Soliday. “We pulled together resources from local families former players and other historical achieves but also digging back in our resources and working cooperatively with the Bears owner Hershey Entertainment. and pulling all the resources together putting it together in a way they’ve never seen before. A lot of the footage has never been utilized in this capacity.”
“One of the neatest things about the film is meeting so many people who have been part of Hershey Hockey history. People have been so giving with their resources,” said Dr. Bob Goodman. who help lead the project. “The Mathers family gave some home video of Frank and the family that we could implement into the story. And then go around and interview many of the people that have been such a part of the Bears like Bruce Boudreau wanted to be a part of it and now he’s head coach at Minnesota. We were able to go to Canada and interview Don Cherry who is so well known for Hockey Night in Canada and played for the Bears in the late ’50s. And Mike Nykoluk one of the greatest Hershey Bears of all time. He’s now in Florida. He was not only happy to do the interview but he’s also driving up for the event on December 7.”
Doors for the film tickets only will open at 6:15 pm. Follow the instructions upon arrival to parking lots.

I missed the show. Is it being shown again sometime? If so, when? If not, will it be made available for the public to buy? More importantly will it be made available for this season ticket holder to buy?
Thank You
