Connor Hobbs Out Indefinitely

Connor Hobbs out indefinitely

The Hershey Bears announced Thursday afternoon that defenseman Connor Hobbs will be out indefinitely after successful surgery to repair his right shoulder on Wednesday, January 29. The 23-year-old suffered the injury during the game on January 4 against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. He was able to finish the game but has not returned to the lineup since.

The Saskatchewan native will end the season with 16 games played, tallying two points (1 goal, 1 assist). This is the second time in Hobbs’ three years with Hershey that he’s been plagued by injuries. In the 2017-18, he missed six weeks early in the season as well as most of the month of March.

The Hershey Bears currently have seven active defensemen on their roster heading in to back-to-back games this Friday and Saturday.
