INSTANT REACTION: Bears Tie Series, Clinch Home Ice Advantage with Game Four Win
The Bears have evened the series at two apiece with a full three period effort in game four. From start to finish, the Bears led in shots and never trailed by score. The Bears evening the series puts a lot of people in better spirits about the series, and it especially helps that the series will return to Hershey next week for a guaranteed game six.
Ethen Frank came in huge late in the first period, finally putting a goal in after many shots on goal throughout the first. Hershey led in shots, 11-4, after the first and constantly pressured the Coachella Valley defense, and limited the attack on their own D, a huge plus early on for the Bears who let up six goals in the previous game.
The biggest sigh of relief is the piece of mind that there is zero chance that the season ends Saturday. Game 5 on Saturday will be a huge momentum game for either side, but it won’t be a series clincher. The series will return to Hershey, and regardless of what predicament they find themselves in, they’ll have a chance to defend the den, and repeat the roar
