Cooper Schultz, Jimmy Huntington’s “Superfan” in the Building for Game 6
Cooper Schultz, Jimmy Huntington’s number one fan is at Giant Center for Game 6 of the Calder Cup Finals.
Cooper of course is a long time friend of Huntington since they met while Jimmy was playing in Milwaukee.
Back in March when the Schultz family made a reunion trip to Chocolatetown to see Jimmy they talked about coming back to Hershey for the Finals. Tonight that moment is here.
Pregame we caught up with the family to see their excitement level.
Before Game 5, Cooper said he wanted a hat trick from Jimmy. Well it wasn’t three goals but two is pretty good including the game winner.
As Game 6 inched closer the excitement and energy kept building and for the first time #CoopersCorner and the bump with Jimmy took place in the Calder Cup Finals.
After the game it was a celebration down on the ice. One look in their eyes and you could see the joy in their eyes about being champions.
These are the moments that makes sports special.
The Schultz’s spent 14 hours in a car to come and cheer on their favorite player.
