Miro Takes Words and Turns Them Into Reality
Ivan Miroshnichenko has had a heck of a Calder Cup playoff run on his way to becoming a champion Monday night. He has scored goals from his knees, dazzled with the puck and thrown his body around all over the ice.
Miro tallied 7 goals and 5 assists in the run which is a huge contribution. However, his biggest moments may not have even taken place on the ice.
Well, it was close to it in the locker room and media room.
After beating Lehigh Valley back on May 13th, in his postgame locker room speech after earning the Bears head thanks to two goals, Miro politely said it was time to “Go hunt wolf,” referring to Hartford.
Against Hartford, Miro had his first press conference with a member of the Bears after a stellar performance in Game 2 of the Atlantic Division Finals after another multi goal skate.
After winning the Calder Cup and fulfilling his prophecy, we had to ask Miro to drop a line on us.
“Win Win Cup Guys”
Yes they did!
