Bobble-Up: Hershey Bears 2024 AHL Champions Bobbleheads Unveiled
Move over Hunter Shepard, Mike Vecchione, and Teddy Bear Toss Coco. There is a new bobblehead for the shelf, mantle, shrine or anywhere you feel a piece of resin that always agrees with you belongs.
From the press release, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled three officially licensed, Hershey Bears 2024 AHL Calder Cup Champions Bobbleheads commemorating the team’s 13th Calder Cup title. The bobbleheads feature the Hershey Bears’ mascot, Coco the Bear, holding a replica Calder Cup trophy. The first two bobbleheads feature Coco the Bear wearing Hershey’s brown and white jerseys standing on the official 2024 Hershey Bears AHL Calder Cup Champions logo. The third bobblehead has a built-in championship counter, which is appropriate for the most storied franchise in AHL history. The limited edition bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of the American Hockey League.
Each bobblehead will be individually numbered to only 2,024 and they are only available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store. The 2024 AHL Champions Bobbleheads are $35 each and the Championship Counter Bobblehead is $40 plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order. The bobbleheads are all expected to ship in November.
“Hershey captured another Calder Cup in dramatic fashion with their overtime Game 6 victory on home ice,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “These bobbleheads will be a must-have for fans to commemorate a memorable season and the franchise’s 13th title.”

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame previously released bobbleheads celebrating Hershey’s 2023 Calder Cup Championship, Hershey’s 12 titles, and Hershey’s Teddy Bear Toss. A limited number of each of those bobbleheads is available, with the first two in stock now, and the Teddy Bear Toss Bobblehead expected to ship in August.
This bobblehead comes courtesy of Matt Strome’s Cup-clinching goal at 1:06 of overtime in Game 6 against Coachella Valley on Monday. Pierrick Dube recorded a hat trick, and Hendrix Lapierre won the Jack A. Butterfield Trophy as the Most Valuable Player of the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs. Lapierre scored 22 points (seven goals, 15 assists) in 20 playoff games, including seven points in the Finals and a goal and an assist in the Game 6 clincher.
Much like the Hunter Shepard and Mike Vecchione bobbleheads last year, I feel the Bears may have a few giveaways for fans for Strome and Lappy in the 2024-25 season.
We shall see!
