Hershey Bears Hold Pink the Rink Night

On any given night at Giant Center, it is not unusual to see Hershey Bears wives and girlfriends behind section 120, helping to raise money for a good cause. This past Sunday, the first of what promises to be a number of fund raising efforts took place in behalf of breast cancer awareness.
Mixed-Up Productions founder Mike Miller came up with the idea of Pink the Rink. “We came to the Hershey Bears with the idea. We’re always out making people dance with wedding and corporate events and we always see smiling faces at the end of the night. We wanted to touch the hearts of individuals affected by breast cancer. We wanted to have an event that gave everyone a great time but also to raise some money.”
