Bears Better Halves holding “Favorite Things” basket silent auction tonight

Wednesday night during the Hershey Bears game, the Bears Better Halves will be holding their yearly Christmas Ornament sale along with four “Favorite Things” baskets up for sale.

The four baskets feature items from Chris Bourque and Zach Sill, Aaron Ness and Travis Boyd, Dustin Gazley and Garrett Mitchell, and Hubert Labrie and Pheonix Copley.

Bourque and Sill’s basket features some of the following items: A pocket knife, a BBQ Hockey Stick Set, a Camo Can Koozie, Christmas Socks, hot chocolate, an autographed Chris Bourque Gnome, Sour Patch Kids, a sleeve of golf balls, a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card, a “game night essentials” board game set, and a Zach Sill autographed puck and beer glass, and much more.

Ness and Boyd’s basket includes: a University of Minnesota Hockey signed t-shirt, some of their favorite candy, their favorite recipes, a Chipotle gift card, a Starbucks gift card, and many other items.

Mitchell and Gazley included some of these items in their basket: Tim Hortin’s coffee, a growler, an Arctic Mug, fishing lure, BBQ Sauce and Rub, a Bass Pro Shops hat, their favorite chocolates, and more!

Labrie and Copley put these “favorite things” together: Christmas coffee blend, movies like Elf, Marley and Me, Copley’s favorite book, a cooking pan, maple syrup, two coffee mugs, and a Chick-fil-a gift card.

All baskets include an autographed team photo. A larger framed team autographed photo is also being auctioned off. Other silent auction items include an autographed broken stick chair, a Zach Sill stick floor lamp, a stick, and puck table lamp, a team autographed stick, and a game issued Pheonix Copley autographed stick.

All Christmas ornaments are $20. All proceeds to the auction and ornaments benefit COCOA PACKS, Inc. The silent auction will close at the beginning of the third period. You can find the Bears Better Halves behind section 119.
