INSTANT REACTION: Bears Control Coachella Visit, Create Chance to Win Finals on Monday

Well, there may have been doubters, there may have been rough stints, but right now, the only thing that matters is the Hershey Bears are back in the lead in the Calder Cup finals and they’ve got a chance to win the series at home on Monday.

This is thanks to a two-goal game from Jimmy Huntington. Both came in crucial spots for Hershey, one with one second remaining in the first period to tie the game, 1-1. The other came as the go-ahead goal with 3:15 remaining, completing a 2-1 to 3-2 comeback for the Chocolate and White, where the game’s score became final.

Hardy Haman Aktell also scored the equalizer in the third period with 11:34 remaining.

Quality play by the Bears got the job done, despite not leading in shots and giving up some penalties. Everyone took a sigh of relief in game four knowing the series would return to Hershey no matter what, and with this game, everybody is truly able to put some late playoff struggles behind them and feel comfortable with what the Bears have been able to do:

Bring the Calder Cup finals back to Hershey with a lead.

We’ll see what they can do with it on Monday night at 7.
