Late Comeback Leads Hershey to Two Points

Hershey was heading into their final regular season game in Charlotte after getting almost “No Rest” after their 12 round shootout win last night against the Checkers. The Bears had some struggles at the start, but came back with the help of Keith Aucoin and three assists from him, leading Hershey to a 4-3 win.
The game was not a good start for Hershey as the Checkers would shutout Hershey in the first period, scoring two goals in the final five minutes in the period.
But Hershey would have one heck of a come back. Ryan Potulny would score halfway through the second period to cut the Checkers’ lead to 2-1.
Jacob Micflikier would tie the game up at 2-2, scoring at 4:11 against his former team. Less than a minute later, Potulny would score again, putting Hershey up 3-2.
Boyd Kane would give Hershey some insurance as he would score Hershey’s fourth goal off a pass from Aucoin, which would be Aucoin’s 64th point of the season.
But two goal lead went back to one as the Checkers scored on a five minute power play after Matt Ford was called for boarding, but Braden Holtby and the Bears defense held them, as Hershey wins 4-3.
The Bears play on the road, in Binghamton, on Saturday night. The game will be televised on many different channels across Pennsylvania.
