I’d rather not talk about this past weekend, but there were 3 games. Here are recaps from Friday, Saturday and Sunday all resulting in no points. The only good things to come out of this past week was an announcement that the All-Star Classic would be on TV and the Bears continued their tradition of reading in schools.

Keith Aucoin voted a starter at this year’s All-Star Game. [The AHL]

This isn’t the kind of season Zach Miskovic hoped he would have, but he is still making the best of it. [PennLive]

The Old Barn hockey show had Jim Jones, John Walton and Doug Yingst join them this week. [OBHS]

Tomas Kundratek has been a nomad this season. [CSNWash]

Speaking of Kundratek, he’s back in Hershey. [Caps]

And playing in the NHL was a dream come true. [PennLive]

Paul Baier has left to go overseas. [PennLive]

Former Bears John Stevens and Zellio Toppazzini will be the 9th and 10th Bears inducted to the AHL Hall of Fame. Keep in mind that the AHL HoF is young and only has 30 members including this year’s class. Former Bears make up a full third of all those that have been honored.[LDN]

If you’ve been waiting for the Andriod version of the Bears app, you can get it now. [Bears]

We hated him last year, but we love him this year. Jacob Micflikier‘s talent has been a huge benefit. [PAPuck]

No plans tonight? Join Joel Rechlicz, Ryan Potulny, Sean Collins and Patrick Wellar for bubble hockey at Duke’s in Hershey. [Bears]

Congratulations to former Bear Alexandre Giroux who is now tied for 9th all time scoring in the AHL with 353 career goals. He is tied with Bear great Tim Tookey. [AHL]

And finally in the former Bear department we salute Mathieu Perreault for his first career NHL hat trick in a 5-3 win over Boston. [RMNB]
