Hershey Bears Eastern Conference Finals Road Games to be Televised

The Hershey Bears and abc27 have announced all Eastern Conference road games from Toronto will be televised in Central PA. The games will air on WHTM’s Digital Channel, 27.3, Comcast 245, Verizon Fios 462, Blue Ridge 152, Kuhn 69, Nittany 227.

HERSHEY, Pa. – The Hershey Bears Hockey Club, in conjunction with abc27, announced today that the road games of the 2016 Eastern Conference Finals will be broadcast live to central Pennsylvania viewers. The announcement was made by Bears President/General Manager Doug Yingst.

The Hershey Bears and Toronto Marlies will battle in the third round of the AHL postseason, with the Bears hosting games one and two on Friday and Saturday, May 20 and 21. The series then shifts to Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto for games three, four and (if necessary) five.

Bears radio voice Scott Stuccio will provide the play-by-play action, while abc27 sports director Gregg Mace will again provide in-game analysis and special features to air during intermissions.

The M&C Foreign Car Parts pre-game show kicks off all radio broadcasts 40 minutes prior to puck drop.

Local affiliate abc27 has been the proud flagship television station of the Hershey Bears for over 16 years. The station carried the 2013 Capital BlueCross AHL Outdoor Classic from HERSHEYPARK Stadium, as well as portions of the 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010 Calder Cup Finals.
