Hershey Bears all-time leading goals scorer Dunc Fisher passes away

At 90-years-old, the Hershey Bears all-time leading goal scorer, Duncan Fisher, has died. One week ago Friday, Fisher passed away. The former Bear sits in the top spot for goals scored with 260 in 511 games.

Fisher, a Regina, Saskatchewan native, returned to Hershey in 2014 to be inducted into the Hershey Bears Hall-of-Fame. Fisher spent nine years in Hershey from 1952-1960.

He spent time with the Regina Pats and Regina Capitals before moving to the New Haven Ramblers of the AHL in 1947. From there, Fisher spent four seasons with the New York Rangers and three with the Boston Bruins. During his time with Hershey, he played in three Calder Cup Finals and won two titles with the team in 1958 and 1959.

Fisher would play eight games with the Detroit Red Wings in 1958-59 before finishing his hockey career in 1960.
