Heading into Tuesday night at Giant Center, there was a palpable buzz around the arena. While part of that buzz was the Mike Vecchione bobblehead giveaway that night, the Bears form was part of that too.
Coming into the game, Hershey had won four straight games, and had secured a point in their last six, with the back to back batterings of (likely) playoff bound Cleveland on their own rink the highlights of that mini-streak.
If you need your hockey fix with the Hershey Bears are on the road this weekend, head on over to Klick Lewis Arena in Palmyra to watch the Fifth Annual Broomball for Autism Awareness Sunday, March 13th at 10 am! Local media personalities will be participating in this event, helping raise money for the Autism Society Greater Harrisburg.

Two weeks ago tonight, we held our second ever Hershey Bears viewing party over at the Warwick Hotel in Hummelstown. We had some very special silent auction and raffle items and a special guest!
Last year, we held our first ever charity viewing party when the Bears had an away game and abc27 televised the game. This year, are doing the same with a new charity and new location!
This past Wednesday night was a special one for Sweetest Hockey as it was our first ever Hershey Bears viewing party! This was all in conjunction with the Hershey Bears Wives, Hershey Bears Booster Club, abc27, The Old Barn Hockey Show, and Fire Alley with the proceeds from a raffle going to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Pennsylvania.

After months of planing, Sweetest Hockey on Earth is proud to announce the first ever “Hershey Bears Viewing Party” on Wednesday March 28, 2012!!! In conjunction with the Hershey Bears Wives, Hershey Bears Booster Club, abc27, and The Old Barn Hockey Show, we will be holding a viewing party benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Pennsylvania at Fire Alley starting a 6:30pm that night.
