After playing seven games in a span of 40 days, the Hershey Bears were back in action Thursday
night when they squared off against the Cleveland Monsters at Giant Center. Thousands of Bears
fans descended upon the sweetest place on Earth, bringing immaculate vibes and their cheering
voices to make home ice a hostile environment.
Before we drop the puck on the Eastern Conference Finals we caught up with a few Bears after a skate to get their thoughts on facing the Cleveland Monsters in their seven game series.

This is not a flashback to last year. Once again the Hershey Bears have swept the Hartford Wolf Pack in the Division finals, winning game three 4-1 and taking the series 3-0.
If someone with zero knowledge of hockey were to walk into Giant Center Saturday night during the third period, without even a glimpse of the ice or scoreboard, they would know what was taking place. With just under nine minutes to go between the Bears and Wolf Pack, a jacked crowd of 10,714 chanted “You poked the Bear!”, as Hershey was en route to their second win of the series. At the very least, it serves as a warning to not only Hartford in game three of the series, but to the potential opponents for Hershey later in this playoff run: Don’t poke the Bear.
