Goal Shortage Continues in Bears Defeat to Phantoms

It has been no lie the Hershey Bears have been struggling of late in November. The Bears hopped the bus to head north to Adirondack Saturday morning, while being victims of defeat in five of their last six games. The Bears fired 24 shots on net, but the power play was no where close to effective in a 3-1 loss to the Phantoms.

Holtby, Sabourin Struggle in 5-3 Syracuse Win

Sunday night the Hershey Bears looked for revenge over the Syracuse Crunch after suffering a 6-1 beat down, nearly 48 hours prior to the start of Sunday’s game. Dany Sabourin, who came into Friday’s game in relief for Braden Holtby drew the start against Dustin Tokarski. A third period scoring explosion for Syracuse led to a 5-2 win over Hershey.

Entering into Friday, the Binghamton Senators carried in a 2-0 season record. Although it is only week two, the B-Sens find themselves in a position they haven’t been in often the past three seasons, despite winning Calder in 2011: Top of the East Division Standings. Dany Sabourin and the Hershey Bears entered the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena for the first time this season, looking to spoil the party.

Bears Release New Logo, Jersey, and Coco

After weeks of speculation, the August 29th Season Ticket Holder Event has come and past and we have some very cool new logos, jerseys, and a mascot to look at. Wednesday night the Chocolate and White actually went back to chocolate and white, dropping the maroon “Swiping Bear” and bringing in the new Roaring Bear. Along the new logo, the Bears also announced much, much more.
