Now the Hershey Bears have announced their first ever “Hockey ‘n Heels.” The program will take place at Giant Center Thursday November 7 at 6:00pm. It’s an event for female fans, from the novice fans to those who have watched the game for years.

Some of Mike Haviland’s new players had never been in the building, but it’s where the Bears will practice this week before the first pre-season game Friday night against Utica at Giant Center

Mike Haviland made a very good first impression. Haviland was named the 24th head coach in Hershey Bears history on Tuesday in a press conference at Giant Center. Haviland comes with an impressive background in coaching, including being an assistant coach with the 2010 Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks.
