After his postgame interview with the Bears media, Connor Hobbs couldn’t locate the puck he scored his first professional goal with. Once the rookie was finally able to get a hold of the puck, he posed for a photo with it, sporing a large smile on his face.

The statue was unveiled on Thursday, October 19, exactly 50 years to the day of the Flyers’ first home game where they defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 in 1967.

Bears rookie defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler scored his first North American pro goal Sunday night in Hershey’s 4-3 loss to Lehigh Valley.
Siegenthaler scored from the top of the slot, helping Hershey begin their comeback against the Phantoms to force the game to overtime.
In a rematch of the opening game of the season, the Hershey Bears and Lehigh Valley Phantoms faced off as Hershey looked for their first win of the 2017-18 campaign.
