Capitals Assign Four to Hershey, Bears Sign Nathan Walker

The Washington Capitals announced today they have assigned four players to the Hershey Bears after making Saturday’s cuts. Those four players are Casey Wellman, Ryan Stoa, Jeff Taffe, and Nathan Walker. Walker, as reported by the George McPhee on Saturday, has signed a one-year deal with Hershey.

The Washington Capitals announced Tuesday the signing of AHL veteran Brandon Segal to a one year, two-way contract. Segal participated in 73 games with the Connecticut Whale last season and battled against the Bears in the 2006 Calder Cup Finals as a member of the Milwaukee Admirals.
